About Portsmouth MathsJam

The first Portsmouth MathsJam took place at the Duke of Buckingham on 14 March, celebrated by many as “Pi day”.  Various puzzles were enjoyed including 9 piece Tantrix, the Bedlam Cube and the 2012 puzzle was started – but not completed so more for next time.  Thanks to Mel for bringing that one along for us all to enjoy.  We didn’t get to the Lominoes or the 52 piece Tantrix, and the Bedlam Cube remains unsolved …

Do come along and join us to enjoy a pint, a puzzle and some maths…

Our regular venue is now the Brewhouse and Kitchen, Guildhall Walk and we meet on the same night (second to last Tuesday of the month) as the other UK MathsJams, joining them via Twitter.
